On the Nature of Us

Collection · Fashion Design BA, 2025

The collection expresses the connection between nature and humanity, not through the use of natural materials but through visual and conceptual elements that evoke nature’s presence in form, shape and structure.

By employing design techniques and aesthetics drawn from organic patterns, geometric forms and textural contrasts, the collection creates a dialogue between nature and humanity, showing how the external world serves as a mirror to our inner landscapes.

It is a reflection on how understanding nature’s intricate beauty and complexity allows us to reconnect with our deeper selves, and encourages a more conscious, introspective view of our relationship with the world around us.

Organic Form

Collection · Fashion Design BA, 2025

Organic Form begins with a moodboard of raw fibre, clay-brown wool, poppy heads and open landscape. Nine words hold the collection together, and its volumes grow from them: balloon trousers, cocoon sleeves and bubble hems.

Nomadify

Accessories · In dialogue with Dina Haddadin & Rasem Kamal

This project converges with two muses, Dina Haddadin and Rasem Kamal, creators of a sustainable nomadic pavilion in the Jordan desert, and gives birth to Futuristic Nomad.

Their pavilion reinterprets a local Bedouin tent: a corten steel frame covered in goat hair for cooling, with a self-sustained drinking fountain that becomes a cooling surface and a welcoming oasis. The permeable structure blends with its surroundings yet stands out as a sanctuary in the nomads’ land.

The collection blends futuristic elements with nomadic aesthetics, embodying adaptability, resilience and eco-consciousness. It is a visual narrative about the interplay between architecture and fashion, and a celebration of cultural fusion and sustainability.

Structured Duality: Femininity in Control

Collection · Fashion Design BA, 2025

This collection embodies the quiet tension between strength and vulnerability. It explores the interplay of contrast: control and softness, exposure and concealment, precision and fluidity. Each look captures a state of balance where opposites coexist, in a visual language that is both assertive and introspective.

The atmosphere is charged with a subtle intensity. Emotions are contained, yet present. There is an elegance in restraint, a kind of calm rebellion. The woman at the centre of this narrative owns her complexity; she does not perform it. This is a story of contrast, not conflict, of harmony found in paradox.

Inspiration

Avant-garde femininity: Ann Demeulemeester, Helmut Lang, Yohji Yamamoto.
Gothic romanticism: the dark elegance of corsetry and Victorian underlayers.
Post-apocalyptic softness: garments that armour and expose at once.
90s minimalism meets 2000s subversion: clean lines disrupted by unexpected cuts and layers.
